Narrator: M/D; Good voice projection required; Dramatically over-the-top; Like the Ring-Master at the Circus;(Also doubled as the Barman in 2004 Production)
 
Nigel Noodlemire M; Lead & main actor; Very eccentric 'Rock Legend'; A lot of solo singing; Confident in a silly way; Quite mad at times; (Also played Loony in 2004 Prod.)
 
 
Princess Nafan: F/D; Central figure; Very confident & in control; Regal looking; Solo singing required; Only appears at very start & end of show (doubled for Kookie in 2004)
Mr Mascara: M/D; Head evil person; Nasty, conniving; A typical power crazed dictator; Appears at start & end of show; (doubled as Mr Confusion in 2004 Production)
 
Mr Foundation: M/D; Main evil person's side-kick; A basic idiot always trying to impress his boss; Must be very animated in voice & movement;(doubled as Sticky 2004)
Kookie Tuesday: F/D; Mental patient in the Loony Bin; Cute & sweet; Act 1; Adult who talks & dresses like a child; Talks to her doll that she calls 'mummy'.
Mr Floss: M/D; The other evil person's side-kick; Mean & nasty; Must have real white teeth; Small part at start of show; (doubled as Crim & Spaceman in 2004 Production)
 
Mr Confusion: M/D; Wild & strange manager/doorman to the 'Madhouse'; Very eccentric, larger then life figure; In Act 2: Uses a 'Count Dracula' like voice
 
Big Boy Martian: M; Nasty but very silly evil Martian; Must have very expressionable face; Only on at start & end of show; No doubling possible due to outfit & extra makeup used.
Crim: M/D; One of the nasty 'henchmen' at the 'Madhouse'; Act 2 only; Only visual role/no dialogue; Very confident but stupid; Looks after 'Spine' by a chain.
 
Wickedy Woo Star Girls: F; Harmony Singing required; 3 Roles:- 1. Sparkle - The more reserved & cautious; 2. Glitter - Very mischievous; & 3. Twinkle - Simple & dizzy
Spine: M/D; The other 'henchman' at the 'Madhouse'; A mute, dumb 'hunchback'; 'Crim's' pet on a chain; Act 2 only; A very expressionable face required.
Lickity Blue Dancers: F; Alot of dancing & movement required; Only 2 Dancers were used in original production, but extra dancers will work.
Sticky Jaunders: M/D; Act 2 only; A very sleazy & slimy character we find in the 'Madhouse' who never gets the girl; Infatuated by 'Rasamona'; 1 solo song.
 
Nurse Proctorwitz: F/D; Real wacky & strange nurse; Small part in Act 1 only; Strange voice required; (doubled as Rasamona in 2004 Production)
 
Barman: M/D; Small role Act 2; 1 solo song; An eccentric barman who delivers his song & lines a bit 'Monty Python-ish'; (as mentioned, doubled as the Narrator)
Nurse Drivle: F/D; The more evil nasty nurse; Also only a small part in Act 1; (doubled for the chorus in Act 2, 2004 Production)
Rasamona: F/D; Act 2; 1 solo song; 'Big Boy Martians' girl; A strong, alluring, super confident temptress who gets any man she wants; Must have attitude!
Professor Nork: M/D; Eccentric, but very worrisome & nervy Professor in charge of Nigel in the Loony Bin; Act 1 only; (doubled as Spine in 2004 Production)
 
Spaceman: M/F/D; Totally visual role; No spoken word; Required for small part at the end of Act 1; (as mentioned was doubled by Mr Floss/Crim in 2004)
